6、irtemperaturerange-30to+65and,inthecaseofpersonallife-savingappliances,unlessotherwisespecified,remainoperationalthroughouttheairtemperaturerange-15to+40;.3iftheyarelikelytobeimmersedinseawaterduringtheiruse,operatethroughouttheseawatertemperaturerange-1to+30;.4whereapplicable,berot-proof,corrosion-

9、rovalinformationincludingtheAdministrationwhichapprovedit,andanyoperationalrestrictions;and.10whereapplicable,beprovidedwithelectricalshortcircuitprotectiontopreventdamageorinjury.TheAdministrationshalldeterminetheperiodofacceptabilityoflife-savingapplianceswhicharesubjecttodeteriorationwithage.Such
10、life-savingappliancesshallbemarkedwithameansfordeterminingtheirageorthedatebywhichtheymustbereplaced.Permanentmarkingwithadateofexpiryisthepreferredmethodofestablishingtheperiodofacceptability.Batteriesnotmarkedwithanexpirationdatemaybeusediftheyarereplacedannually,orinthecaseofasecondarybattery(acc
