2、eachingisnoexception.Theintroductionofthemulti-mediateachingmethodtotheEnglishclasshasbeenoneofthetendenciestothedevelopmentofEnglishteaching.ButthemisuseofthemoderntoolswillsurelyresultinthebadeffecttoEnglishteaching.SoEnglishteachersshouldtakeanactivepartintheresearchofhowtousethemulti-mediateachi
3、ngmethodinEnglishteachingandtrytoavoiditsmisuses.【Keywords】multi-media；Englishteaching；overcome.ErroneousZoneintheUseofMulti-MediaTherearemanyoutstandingstrongpointsinmulti-mediateachingcomparingwiththetraditionalteaching.Butitisnotvalideverywher.Ithasbothadvantagesanddisadvantages.Someteacherscanno
4、tseetheadvantagesanddisadvantagesofthemulti-mediaintheirteachingandcannotexploittothefullythemulti-mediasfavorableconditionsandavoidunfavorableones.Theytaketheuseofthemulti-mediaastheleadingteachingmethods.Theycannotusethemulti-mediaandignorethefunctionofteacher.Themulti-mediateachingprogramsoftheir
5、sareonlytheaccumulationofletters，images，andthecontentsofbooks，justlikearefurbishedversionofthebook.Thereisnoinnovationintheirclass.Theyjustshowthemulti-mediateachingprogramintheirEnglishclassandteacherjustlikeaprojectionist.Teacherbecometheslaveofthemulti-mediaandcannotbeastheleadingteachingmainsubj
6、ect.CountermeasureThecountermeasuresarethemeasuresandtheremedieswhichtheeducatorscantakemeasurestocorrectthemisunderstandingsormisusingofmulti-mediaEnglishteaching.Takethemanastheprimaryandadopttheadvantagesofthemulti-media.Whenwemakethemulti-mediateachingprogram，wemustknowthatitisonlyandcanbeonlyth
7、eassistantteachingtoolforourteaching.Studentsandteachershouldbealwaystheprimary.Teacheristheleadingandstudentsaretheprincipalpart.Withtheinterpositionofmulti-media，teacherislessparticipatedintheclassandstudentsaremoreactiveintheclass.Butthisdoesnotmeanthatteacherisnottheleadinganylonger，Teacherisalw
8、aysthedesigneroftheclass，exponentialofthestudyandtheorganizeroftheclass.Theteachingartisimproved.Teachershouldpaymoreattentiontogivingstudentsadvices.Furthermore，teachershouldsetuphisownteachingstyleinhismulti-mediateachingprogramtomakehislessonsmorevividandvigorous.Everyteachermustnotbecontrolledby
