Employing a total of 550 staff, the refinery processes 220,000 barrels of oil per day, supplyin
2、g products to the UK and Northern Europe.We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the Refinerys Engineering Department in the post of Cost Control Engineer.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full “cost management* function for all wor
3、k carried out within the Engineering Department, but predominantly focusing on maintenance. The role has a broad range of responsibilities, including, cost estimation, budget setting and forecasting, contract development and tender evaluation and coordination of the departments long term budget plan
4、, plus audits of contracts. Working closely with many members of the Engineering team you will be responsible for cost control and reporting procedures to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial information and key performance indicators.A suitably qualified individual, possessing a HNC
5、/HND as a minimum, with a background in engineering construction or maintenance, and knowledge of quantity surveying, contracts and management accounting you will have ideally a minimum of five years experience in a similar role in the refining/chemicals environment or similar industry, either as a
6、client or as a contractor. Self-motivated, confident, and able to work on your own initiative to achieve results, you will have an ability to work within the Engineering field with a flair for numbers. Excellent interpersonal, IT and data management skills are required, whilst a working knowledge of
