Firstly gives a brief introduction to discourse analysis and introduce a new approach based on theories of corpus linguistics. Then introduces corpus linguistic
10、s. Finally analyzes Obamas speeches under the guidance of the theory of corpus linguistics. Some linguistic features of public speeches will be discovered, to tell people how to achieve the support in the public speeches.
