4、gasinahumanfamily.NobodybeforeJanefullyunderstoodchimpbehaviour.Shespentyearsobservingandrecordingtheirdailyactivities.Sinceherchildhoodshehadwantedtoworkwithanimalsintheirownenvironment.However,thiswasnoteasy.WhenshefirstarrivedinGombein1960,itwasunusualforawomantoliveintheforest.Onlyafterhermother

11、htneededthisadvice?Ilookedcarefullyatthetextandrealizedthatitwasintendedforwomeninthecountryside.Perhapsiftheyhadanemergencytheycouldnotreachadoctor.Suddenlyithitmehowdifficultitwasforawomantogetmedicaltrainingatthattime.ThatwasagenerationwhengirlseducationwasalwaysplacedsecoWndastoshbeosyos.muchcle
12、vererthananyoneelse?Furtherreadingmademerealizethatitwashardworkanddeterminationaswellashergentlenaturethatgotherintomedicalschool.WhatmadehersucceedlateronwasthekindnessandconsiderationsheshowedtoallherpatientsT.herewasstoryafterstoryofhowLinQiaozhi,tiredafteradayswork,wentlateatnighttodelivbabyfor
