2、to work by bus. Now I take a taxi. So the sentence “I used to be afraid of the dark.” means in Chinese:我过去常害怕黑 “used to”的疑问形式和否定形式：Did you use to be afraid of the dark?Yes, I used to be afraid of the dark.Did he use to be afraid of the dark?No, he did not use to be afraid of the dark.There used to b
3、e a church here ,didn t there ? 二、Mario, you used to be short, didnt you? 马里奥，你以前个子很矮是吗？【解读1】这是一个反意疑问句。反意疑问句是表示说话人对所陈述的事情有所怀疑或不肯定，需要询问对方的看法。反意疑问句由“陈述句 + 附加疑问句”构成，若陈述句为肯定形式，则附加疑问句要用否定形式；若陈述句为否定形式，则附加疑问句要用肯定形式，即“前肯后否；前否后肯”。同时，前后两部分的人称、数、时态等都要保持一致。附加疑问句一般由“助动词、be动词或情态动词的肯定形式或否定形式 + 人称代词”构成，且否定形式常用缩写形式。
4、 注意：当陈述句中含有no, never, seldom, hardly, little, few, nothing, nobody等表示否定意义的词时，附加疑问句要用肯定形式。当陈述句中含有unhappy, dislike, unfriendly等带否定前缀的派生词时，当作肯定句处理，附加疑问句要用否定形式。【举例】(1) You saw him yesterday, didnt you? 你昨天看见过他，是吗？ (2) This is a beautiful picture, isnt it? 这是一幅美丽的图画，是吗?(3) Lucy cant play the piano, can s
