1、Unit 5 MusicPeriod 2 Reading and Thinking 教材分析本版块主题是“了解在线体验音乐”(Learn about experiencing music online),本版块介绍的虚拟合唱团(virtual choir)是音乐与新科技、互联网联姻产生的音乐形式。来自世界各地的成员不需要来到同一个地方,而是借助新技术,在家唱歌就能组成各个声部和谐美妙的虚拟合唱团。与单元主题页和名人名言相呼应,即“音乐是人类通用的语言”,它可以把不同种族、不同国家、不同性别的人们联系在一起,用同一种声音把世界变得更美好。教学目标1. 能正确理解使用下列词汇:virtual, v

2、irtual choir, composition, opportunity, performance, performer, onto, studio, ordinary, enable, prove, award, fall in love with, enable sb. to do, original, phenomenon, stage, altogether, thus, band, nowadays。2. 获取梳理文中作者所提供的有关虚拟合唱团的事实性信息。3. 概括整合虚拟合唱团的关键特征并与真实合唱团进行比较。4. 以思维导图的形式梳理文章篇章结构并分析作者的态度。5. 结合

3、生活谈论自己对虚拟合唱团的看法和观点。【教学重点】学生能够获取梳理文中作者所提供的有关虚拟合唱团的事实性信息,能够概括整合虚拟合唱团的关键特征并与真实合唱团进行比较。【教学难点】结合生活谈论自己对虚拟合唱团的看法和观点。教学过程Step 1 Warming-upEnjoy a piece of MV “You Raise Me Up” to lead in the topic and discuss the questions.(1) How do you feel when you enjoy the song?(2) Why do people need music? (3) What a

4、re the ways for people to experience music? 设计意图:用视频直观而直接地介绍本课话题,激活学生的已知,如与音乐话题相关的词汇,为下文的主题阅读做好铺垫。Step 2 Pre-reading1. Work on Activity 1. Work in groups to discuss the question:(1) In modern times, Computers and the Internet connect everyone in the world. How can they help us experience music diffe
