Introduction of CEEG1. General introduction 1.1 OverviewSamoas 5MW on-grid PV demonstration proj

10、ect is located in Polynesia, the southern equatorial region. Its geographical coordinates: 13.82S, 172.01W, the average altitude of 63m. The site is open, flat, easily accessible and convenient. (Specific location can be found in the attached map in Fig.1.1).Fig.1 The location of PV power stationThe

11、 PV power station covers around 100,000 with a length of 563m and a width of 180.5m. According to the analysis of solar energy resources pre-installed requirements and optimized layout, 17,920 280W modules, 998mm (width) 1956mm (length) for each module, will be installed in the 100,000 area. The tot

12、al capacity of PV power station is 5.0176MW and will generate around 7,752,900 kWh each year.1.2 Solar energy resources and geographical/meteorological conditionsAccording to regional solar radiation data and analysis, solar resource in the project site has several features in the following conclusi

13、ons:1.2.1 The project is located in rich solar resource area of SamoaAccording to NASA solar radiation data measured in the past 30 years, the average amount of solar radiation is 6,908.1MJ/m2, the average hours of sunshine are 3,313 hours.1.2.2 Choose the best angle of PV array can effectively incr

14、ease the amount of radiationBased on the NASA database on Samoas radiation with different inclined angle, the optimum for PV panel installation is 18.9. Then the PV panel will receive maximum radiation of 7053.9MJ/m2 throughout the year.1.3 Engineering geologyThe project Site is covered by plant but

15、 no river, lake in the around. The distance to the airport is about 400m and the airport highway in the north. No residents live in the surrounding area, nor does any mining factory. (More information is required to be provided by customers, focused on the geology conditions, which should meet the construction requirement and the effect on construction.)1.4 Task and scale of projectThe location is ideal for PV power plant because of the rich solar resource, conve
