Maybe they are simply great enough to receive without misgiving. Most think that they are above being supported by the town; but it often happens that they are not above supporting themselves by dishonest means, which should be more disreputable. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old, return to them. Things do not change; we change. 生活不像你认为的那样坏当你最富有的时候，倒是看似最穷爱挑毛病的人就是在天堂里也能找到缺点即使你生活贫穷，也要热爱生活因为就是在济贫院里，你也可以有快乐、激动、荣耀的时候反射在济贫院窗子上的夕阳，同反射在富户人家窗上的一样光亮；门前的积雪也同样在春天早早的融化在我见过的人中，只有心绪宁静的人才可能生活得心满意足、心怀欢快愉快的念头，如同在皇宫中一样在我看来，城镇中的穷人，往往过着最独立自主的生活也许就是因为他们很伟大，能够毫无疑虑坦然接受现实大多数人认为他们高高在上，不需要城镇的资助；可是事实上他们往往并不高尚，而是用不正当的手段来谋生，理应更加声名狼藉像圣人般视贫穷如花园中香草来种植照料吧！不要自寻烦恼去过分追求新奇，朋友也罢，衣服也罢 翻开故往，回归故往万物未变，是我们在变卖掉你的衣服，保留你的思想。
