Use comparative adjectives to make comparisons. Teaching Materials: PPT, clothes Teaching Procedures: Step1. Sing a song 2. Warm –up 3.( Have you ever been to a fashion show? Let’s watch a fashion.) Step2. Review the words: a skirt, a shirt, a T-shirt, a hat, a cap, trousers, jeans, shoes and socks.Step3. Look at the PPT, ask the students What other clothes do you know? to elicit more clothing items from pupils.Step4. Show students two vests, the red one is big, the blue one is blue. Ask which one is smaller? Elicit the comparative adjectives: The blue vest is smaller than the red one.Step5. Do the same to teach : a suit a jumper, a tie, a belt,long ,longer, short, shorter, thick, thicker. Tell pupils whenwe compare things. We can use comparatives like these.Step6. Read the words and sentences on the board.Step7. Watch a micro lesson to practice and summarize.Step8. Take out the things talk about the comparisons.Step9. Play a game. Step10. Do exercises.。
