Show some letters. Ask: “What’s this?” Help the students to answer: “It’s big letter A.” etc. Step 2 Section A (1a—1c)Do Section A 1b. Find the letters you know. Show a pen. Ask: What’s this in English? Help the students to answer: It’s a pen. (Don’t forget “a / an”)Repeat with quilt, ruler, orange, key, jacket and map. Listen to the tape and repeat. Do pair work. (1c) Make your own conversation. Step 3 Section A (2a—2d)Teach letters I—R, first read and repeat, then learn to write. Please pay attention to letter J and K.
