1、Unit 1 How tall are you?Part A Lets try & Lets talk教学设计单元Unit 1课时第 2课时学习目标1.学生能听、说、认读单词dinosaur,hall,than,both,metre;能听、说、读、写句子“Thats the tallest dinosaur in this hall.”“Its taller than both of us together.”2.学生能积极参与课堂活动,大胆尝试用英语交流。3.学生能比较人物、事物的差异性,并做出正确的价值判断。4.学生能感知事物多样性,在理解的基础上进行初步的比较。教学重难点1.能够理解并熟

2、练运用问答身高的句型。2.能够运用比较级的标志词than进行人或物身高的描述和比较。3.能够熟练运用交际句型描述或比较人或物的外貌特征。学情分析本课时是人教版六年级下册第一单元的第二课时,与第一课时紧密相连,围绕“恐龙的身高”展开话题。本课时包括Lets try 和 Lets talk 两个板块。Lets try是听力训练,呈现的是关于恐龙的材料。通过听力的练习,学生们获得场景信息,为下面进入正确的对话做好准备。Lets talk呈现张鹏和Mike 在博物馆讨论恐龙的场景。恐龙是一种神秘的动物,学生们都非常感兴趣。本课时恐龙馆情景的设置,可以激发学生求知的欲望,鼓舞了学生想要用英语表达的热情。

3、本课时出现了很多生词和词组,dinosaur, hall, maybe, both of,more,over there,这些单词和词组的读音、语义对于学生都有一定的困难,老师应该借助一定的语境、肢体语言、图片等方法帮助学生学习和理解。教学工具PPT,课文视频,音频教学方法情境教学法,任务型教学法,归纳巩固法教学过程学习任务教学活动设计意图Part 1:Lead inStep I: Lead in1.T:Write the parative forms of these adjectives as quickly as you can.2.Look and sayT:Look at the p

T: Listen and guess “How

Copy the key sentences for 3+1 and make your sentences.通过布置作业巩固复习本节课单词以及句型。板书设计: Unit 1 How tall are you?第二课时dinosaur tall-taller-tallest hallThats the tallest dinosaur in this hall.Its taller than both of us together. 教学反思:本课时由看视频了解恐龙到听声音猜测恐龙种类入手,创设恐龙博物馆的情景,从恐龙的身高对比,引出形容词的tall的比较级及最高级,逐步过渡到恐龙与Zhang Peng及Mike的身高对比,最后通过调查同学身高进行比较等活动,让学生在运用中进一步感知比较与差异。本节课的学习内容在语句表达方面略显拗口,但是采用了任务型教学法,让学生在每一个环节都可以带着不同问题进行学习,不同环节注意的点不一样,通过这些练习可以帮助学生准确理解课文内容。
