13、es into the ocean from a Staten Island beach in New York.Each contained an image of a water bird and a message similar to the one Brigitte found.Boorujy says he was inspired to take action after becoming aware of the effect the carelessly thrown plastic has on wildlife.Researchers say that around 90

14、% of seabirds have plastic in their stomachs.Many chicks(雏鸟)die because their mothers unintentionally feed them bits of plastic along with their food.Boorujy hopes his message will raise awareness about the danger that seabirds face.He also enjoys the opportunity to give away his art and create a un
