1、外研版八年级下册Module 5 Cartoons教学设计 Unit 1 Its time to watch a cartoon.一 教学目标：语言知识： (1) 话题：有关卡通及卡通人物的表述。(2) 语法：一般过去时、过去进行时和现在完成时。(3) 词汇：共有9个围绕相关话题的核心词汇。（cartoon handsome smart fight cool hero humorous cant help doing sth. make sb laugh）语言技能：(1) 听的技能要求：要求学生能听懂与卡通人物相关的对话，并能提取对话中的细节信息。(2) 说的技能要求：要求学生能够简单谈论自己
2、喜欢的卡通和卡通人物。情感目标：1、向超级英雄学习，勇于战胜自己，做自己的英雄；2、学会合作，尊重他人的态度，倾听他人的不同意见。二 教学重点和难点教学重点：学生能够克服生词干扰,听懂对话内容并从中提取细节信息。教学难点：用本节课所学的目标语言谈论自己喜欢的卡通人物。重难点的突破是通过游戏激趣、方法策指导、交互式电子白板互动等方式一一将难点弱化，进而突出重点。三 教法与学法教学方法：情景教学法，任务型教学法及小组讨论合作探究。依据新课程标准倡导的通过“感知体验实践参与探究合作”等方式，发现语言规律，逐步掌握语言知识和技能，结合学生的实际学习水平，我引导学生掌握以下学习方法。学习方法:1. 善于
3、抓住用英语交流的机会，充分感知，积极体验，大胆实践。 2. 积极参与，善于合作，培养团队意识。 3. 为赢取“最佳课堂表现奖”而主动学习。教学用具： Computer and Handouts 四 教学过程：Step 1 Warming-up （1）Watch a video about the Monkey King.T: Its time to watch a cartoon. Watch the Monkey King and tell me what do you think of him?(2)Watch a video.(3)Check together: He is a brav
4、e, cute and strong .Then let students look at the pictures of some cartoons and tell the names of the cartoons and characters. Then ask students to read after the teacher.(4) Match the cartoons with their names.（设计意图：通过看视频和看图说话和操练让学生在情境中学习会让学生有更深的理解,并且能激发学生的学习兴趣。）Step 2 Pairwork Work in pairs, talk

10、 time tocant help doing sth.I like , because is very smart/ humorous/ handsome.五 教学反思 本单元在语言知识上侧重用形容词描述卡通人物的学习及训练，这一主线始终串联在整个课时中：从导入时教师对The Monkey King的人物个性特征描述的提点，到小组问答这一环节学生用不同的句子描述卡通人物，以及最后的报道输出环节学生对卡通人物的评价，都是围绕着描述卡通角色展开，重点突出环节清晰，学生也得到了有效扎实的练习。听力部分训练学生识别对话中提及的卡通故事和人物和说话人对卡通故事及人物的态度。在这一步骤中，由于我没有向学生解释清楚听力任务，导致少部分学生做听力时任务完成得不是很好。在教学过程中学生水平参差不齐，还是尽量要照顾中等水平的学生，简单的练习则尽量给基础较差的学生。 在教学中，我们要讲英语的学习生活化，将课本知识与生活经历融为一体，让学生成为课堂的主角，大胆演绎，充分表演，让学生感受到英语学习在生活中的乐趣，体验运用英语进行交际活动的成功喜悦。此外，还要将英语的学习从课内延伸到课外，充分利用学校、家庭和社会等教育资源，增加学生英语实践的时间与机会。 在口语训练中，先创设一些情景让学生运用本单元的词汇、短语和句型进行对话及讨论，然后过渡到情感教育，让学生将所学的知识融汇到生活中去，得到升华。
