1、Unit 4 Space Exploration子主题2:关注太空探索历史及成就Period 3 Discovering Useful Structures一、教学内容分析本课时为子主题2的第三课时,课时的核心语法是动词不定式作定语和状语。学生在初中阶段已经学习过不定式用作目的状语,本单元增加了不定式作结果状语的用法。当不定式用作定语时,一般置于被修饰词之后作后置定语,可用来修饰名词、代词、数词等。当不定式用作状语时,可表示目的、结果、原因以及伴随状况等。本课时和单元主题相结合,引导学生学习并运用动词不定式作定语和状语的结构描述已知的太空事实、太空探索历史上的重大事件和重要人物的成就。二、学情

2、分析学生在初中阶段已经学习了动词不定式作宾语、宾语补足语和目的状语的用法,对动词不定式这一结构比较熟悉。同时,通过本单元前几课时的学习,学生对人类探索太空的发展历程以及中国在太空探索领域所取得的成就有了较深入的了解,并且有一定的语言积累,为本节课的语法学习奠定了基础。三、教学目标通过本课时学习,学生能够:1. 发现并总结不定式作状语和定语的语法功能;2. 运用不定式作状语和定语,描述太空事实、太空探索史上的重大事件和重要人物的成就。四、教学重难点【重点】发现并总结不定式作状语和定语的语法功能;【难点】运用不定式作状语和定语,描述太空事实、太空探索史上的重大事件和重要人物的成就。五、教学活动设计

3、环节一:激活已知,引入语法现象。(5 mins)教师引导学生看图回答问题,引出语法现象动词不定式,并小组内探讨已学过的动词不定式的语法功能有哪些,尝试举例说明。教学活动1. Ss revise what they have learnt last period and answer the question.What do you know about Yuri Gagarin?2.
