Ss can understand phrases about weekend activities, such as: climb the mountain, do outdoor activities, watch TV, stay at home e

4、tc. Ss are able to use sentence structures about showing preference: Id rather I prefer to I like/love/enjoy II. Ablity objectives: Ss can understand suggestions about cultivating healthy habits while listening. Ss are able to use sentence structures “ Id rather,I like, I love, I prefer to” to show

5、their preferred living habits. III. Emotion objectives: Ss know more healthy habits and start to cultivate own healthy living habits. V. Key teaching points: Ss can catch the key words and sentence structures about living habits and suggestions in the listening part. Ss manage to talk with others ab

6、out living habits and give suggestions in the dialogues. IV. Difficult point in teaching: Ss can use words or sentence structures related with living habits and suggestions in the real situations. 7、ords & Expressions The meanings and pronuncation of words, phrases are very important for students. Such as: relax, lose weight, be on a diet, etc.Step two: Lead-in1. Simple greetings and asking questions to lead-in the topic. Such as: What did you do last weekend? 2. Small discussion about teachers

8、 weekend activities. I did five things last weekend. Do you think which is healthy? Which is unhealthy? If I eat too much ice cream, drink too much beer, what will happen to me?-fat If I do too much homework, what will I feel?-sleepy (There are four people having problems in their health. Lets look

9、at pictures and find out what are they? )3.Choose and describe. Let students choose the right adjectives to describe the pictures on the screen. 4. Discussion and match Discuss how they can keep healthy. Match the suggestions with the pictures in Activity 1. (Explain the meaning of “do more outdoor

(2)Listen and decide Students listen to the tape again and decide whether the statements are true or false. If it is false, find out the reasons. (3)Listen
