4、2.What about your summer holiday?Step 2 Course Introduction1 课程定位大学英语教学是高等教育的一个重要组成部分,是一门必修的基础课 程,占本科学分体制的10炫右。本课程开设于大学二年级第一个学期,在 加强学生综合技能训练的基础上,结合学生专业要求,重视学生专业英语 能力及综合素质的培养。在教学上突出实用性,强调听、说、读、写、译 五项语言技能的综合训练和互为补充循环操练,构建了一个完整的文化知 识结构网络,把语言教学、文化教学与专业教学有机地结合起来,是实践 与理论并重的语言基础课。(10 mins)(5mins)(10 mins)2

5、 课程目标听力理解能力:能听懂英语谈话和讲座,能基本听懂题材熟悉、篇幅较 长的英语广播和电视节目,语速为每分钟150-180词,能掌握其中心大意, 抓住要点和相关细节。能基本听懂用英语讲授的专业课程。口语表达能力:能用英语就一般性话题进行比较流利的会话,能基本表 达个人意见、情感、观点等,能基本陈述事实、理由和描述事件,表达清楚, 语音、语调基本正确。阅读理解能力:能基本读懂英语国家大众性报刊杂志上一般性题材的文 章,阅读速度为每分钟7090词。在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度适中的材料时, 阅读速度达到每分钟120词。能阅读所学专业的综述性文献,并能正确理解 中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节。书面表

6、达能力:能基本上就一般性的主题表达个人观点,能写所学专业 论文的英文摘要,能写所学专业的英语小论文,能描述各种图表,能在半小 时内写出不少于160词的短文,内容完整,观点明确,条理清楚,语句通顺。翻译能力:能摘译所学专业的英语文献资料,能借助词典翻译英语国家 大众性报刊上题材熟悉的文章,英汉译速为每小时约350个英语单词,汉英(5mins)3. 教材与教学内容本课程采用的教材是新视野大学英语3,每单元包含课文导入 (previ ew text A. text B及exerci ses X每篇课文练习设有五个练习: Pre reading acti vi ti es, readi ng conp
