7、hey cannot run as fast as this princess? Story-teller: However, when she saw Atalanta come out of her house to run, Hippomenes changed his mind. Hippomenes:I will marry Atalanta-or die! Story-teller: The race started and although the man ran very fast, Atalanta ran faster. As Hippomenes watched he t
8、hought, How can I run as fast as Atalanta? He went to ask the Greek Godness of Love for help. Hippomenes:”Goddess of love, please help me,How can I run as fast as Atalanta?” Goddess:OK,I will give you three golden apples, throw an apple in front of Atalanta when she is running past. When she stops t
9、o pick it up, you will be able to run past her and win. Story-teller: Hippomenes took the apples and went to the King. Hippomenes: I want to marry Atalanta .
