Therefore, the CYDF (China Youth Development Foundation) is determined to carry on a financial plan to prevent them from quiting school, which is called Project Hope.The Project is of great necessity. As we know, the children are the hope and future of China. Their being deprived of education will not only result in lack of human resources in those backward areasbut also hold back theeconomic develop ment of these areas and even the whole country. Moreover,the Chinese govern ment is not likely to provide a large amount of money for the hundreds of thousands of school dropouts. Therefore, the Project Hope is initiated by CYDF to offer financial assistance for these young stets.My suggestion is that more people from all walks of life should beencouraged to finance the Project with their deeper love and stronger sense of responsibility for these children.
