Though born in America, he came of New England stock(血统), his ancestors for nine generations being New Englanders and living in Lowell, Massachusetts (洛厄尔马萨诸塞州 ).,When Robert was 11 his father died, and the family moved to Massachusetts in New England where his mother taught to earn a living.,Life and Writing Career,After graduating from high school, Frost had studied at Dartmouth College (达特茅斯学院)(in 1893), but remained less than 1 semester.
