Module 5 CartoonsUnit 1 It’s time to watch a cartoon.一、 教学内容分析 卡通故事是少年儿童喜欢的话题,每个学生都有自己喜欢的卡通人物和卡通故事,所以本模块内容能够激发学生的学习兴趣和参与意识教师可以借助话题的优势,设计各种听、说、读、写活动 第一单元是大明和托尼的对话,两人谈论做完作业后该看什么卡通片从对话中可以看出两人有不同的喜好但是,最终两人达成一致,观看«猫和老鼠»在教学中,要要求学生不仅能够听懂对话,能够提取信息,还能模仿对话介绍自己喜欢的卡通人物二、 学情分析 农村地区语言学习环境薄弱,教材内容多并有一定难度,部分学生学习积极性不高家庭重视程度不够或能给与的帮助有限,教师应积极创设情境、用事例说明英语重要性等方法,千方百计激励学生学习英语三、教学设计:Unit 1 It’s time to watch a cartoon.ⅠTeaching modelListening and speaking ⅡTeaching method PWP , task-based approach Ⅲ Teaching aims1. Do a short interview by free talk.2. Enjoy some cartoon pictures on the PPT. The T ask the Ss several questions. Have you watched these cartoons? What kind of cartoons do you like? Humorous cartoons or exciting cartoons?3. The T presents the title of this class.Step 2 Learn the new wordsPresent several cartoon characters on the screen, introduce them to the students, learn the new words and phrases at the same time.Step 3 Listening Listen to a conversation between Betty and Tony, find out Betty’s and Tony’s answers to these questions.l Play the recording twice.l Students check, then answer.Step 4 Listen and readListen and read the conversation, finish three tasks.1. Listen and read the conversation, judge the sentences true or false.2. Ss read the conversation in roles together, then answer the questions. Here the T can help the Ss get some lessons from the questions. 3. Ss read the conversation together, then complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box. Then read the short passage with their answers together.Step 5 Practice Work in pairs. Ask and answer the questions. What cartoons do you like reading or watching on TV? When do you read or watch them? Which one do you like best? Why? Ss can use the information of a table to practice. After a while, ask several pairs to show their conversations.Step 6 Homework1.
