该学科以安全工程国家第二类特色专业、安全工程辽宁省示范专业以及 2005 年辽宁省科技厅、财政厅批准组建的辽宁省煤矿安全工程重点实验室、国家安全生产监督管理总局和国家发改委联合批准组建的矿山通风技术基础研究实验室为依托本学科现有导师 25 人(博士生导师 12 人) ,其中教授 17 人、副教授 8 人2000 年获安全技术及工程博士学位授予权获得国家科技进步二等奖 1 项、省部级奖励多项,主持国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目、国家自然科学基金青年项目、国家“六五”-“十一五”科技攻关项目、教育部博士点基金、中国博士后科技基金项目、辽宁省自然科学基金项目、辽宁省教育厅项目及企业合作项目多项安全技术及工程学科是研究人们在社会生产中的安全与健康的技术与管理科学,是随着现代科学技术的发展,由自然科学与社会科学交叉产生的一门新的综合学科辽宁工程技术大学安全技术及工程学科以矿山安全为主攻方向,尤其在煤矿“一通三防”研究领域具有鲜明的特色和优势The subject of “Safety Technology and Engineering” of Liaoning Technical University was granted master’ degree points in 1998 and doctor’ degree points in 2000. It was confirmed the key subject of Lioaning province in 2002 and become national key cultivation subject in 2007. The post-doctoral research center was established in first-level subject of Mining Engineering since 1999, which obtained first-level subject doctor’s degree granting in 2003. The subject mainly relied on the second kind of national characteristic specialty of Safety Engineering, the demonstration specialty of Liaoning province, the key laboratory of Liaoning province and the mine ventilation laboratory authorized by State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS) and state development and reform commission.There are 21 tutors (12 doctor’s tutors) in the subject, in which 13 tutors are professors, and 8 tutors are associated professors. The subject obtained safety technology and engineering doctor’s degree awarding powers in 2000. The subject obtained 1 National scientific and technological progress second prize and many Provincial and ministerial level awards. The subject takes charge of many national natural science foundation projects, national torch-plan projects of “the sixth five-year plan” to “the eleventh five-year plan”, Doctorate Fund of the Ministry of Education, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation project, Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province, Liaoning Provincial Department of Education Project and Enterprise cooperation projects.This subject of “Safety Technology and Engineering”, studies the safety and health when people engage in the social production and was developed a brand-new integrated subject bridging the natural and social science.
