而对于谭嗣同报刊活动和报刊思想的研究， 探讨的重心主要集中在谭嗣同发表的《湘报后叙》与《报章文体说》两篇专门论述报刊思想的文章上，论述了谭嗣同报刊思想的主要方面及特征，对他的报刊思想的历史意义进行了评述但对谭嗣同报刊思想的全面展现存在一定的遗漏之处 本文采用文献研究、对比分析等研究方法，在充分吸收已有研究成果的基础上，不仅探讨了谭嗣同在《湘报后叙》 、 《报章文体说》中，专门论述报刊的思想，同时还探讨了在 《思篇》 、 《兴算学议》 、 《思纬氤氲台短书——报贝远征》 、 《仁学》以及谭嗣同与友人贝元征、梁启超、汪康年等的一些信件中，所表达地关于报刊的思想认识 通过四个章节， 研究了谭嗣同在不断探索、 传播维新思想的过程中，形成了自己独具风格的报刊思想第一章绪论，从三个方面主要阐述了课题研究背景与内容、研究现状与检讨、研究目的及意义第二章着重从报刊业务、报刊经营、 报刊功能三个方面展现谭嗣同的报刊思想第三章从谭嗣同所处的历史环境出发论述了严峻社会现实、中西方文化的启迪、广泛的社会游学及与报刊界友人的交往对谭嗣同报刊思想形成的影响 第四章则从谭嗣同报刊思想的特色以及报刊思想的历史价值两个方面，进行了客观地历史评析。
通过对谭嗣同报刊思想地研究，本文认为谭嗣同在从事维新活动中，追求自由、民主、平等是其为之争取奋斗的不懈动力他以知识分子的理性、独立性与批判性针砭时弊，畅言政治国事，以报刊为思想传播工具，建言当政者，启迪教育民众，形成了强大的维新思潮谭嗣同对报刊事业有着深刻认识与执著追求，吸收了中国传统文化中民主思想的精华，受到了西方文化的熏陶启迪把对国家的热忱和对民族的担忧，通过不断地报刊活动表现出来，为近代中国的报刊发展做出了一定的贡献， 研究谭嗣同的报刊思想同时也是对那个时代先进爱国人士报国历程的一次回顾 关键词：关键词：谭嗣同；报刊思想；思想溯源；思想评析 II Abstract Tan Sitong successively had a hand in the establishment of The New Paper of Hunan Science, Journal of People hear, Journal of Mining Industry, contributed to The Chinese Progress, Hunan Newspaper, etc., and heartily supported the activities of Journal of Agriculture, Journal of Initiation, Journal of Women and so on. In his brief life, he established newspapers, attacked feudalism through newspapers, and propagandized constitutional reform and modernization and tried his best to promote the reformative movement, occupying many pages in the historical records. Studies on Tan Sitong in the past more than one hundred years are focused on his thoughts on politics, economics, population, civil right, ethics, humanism, philosophy of history, institute, and science, his way of thinking, and outlook on life and so on. His two articles dedicated to the thought on newspaper After Xiang Newspaper and Style of Newspaper Articles has been the focus of the studies on his practice and thought in establishing newspaper, There are comprehensive description of the main aspects and features of Tan’s thought on newspaper and comments on the historic significance of his thought but there is insufficient representation of it. The paper uses the methods such as literature analysis, comparative analysis, etc. On the basis of full absorption of theoretical results, not only has discussed After Xiang Newspaper and Style of Newspaper Articles, meanwhile has discussed The paper of thought, Arithmetic To discuss, The short paper of Siweiyinyuntai—reply Bei yuanzheng, Kernel Study as well as Tan Sitong and his friends Bei Yuanzheng, Liang Qichao, Wang Kangnian and so on some letters, expressed regarding thought on newspaper. Through four chapters, studied Tan Sitong During the process of groping for and spreading the reformation thoughts, he shaped his own thought on newspaper. The first chapter is introduction, mainly elaborated the topic research background and the content, the research present situation and the self-criticism, the research goal and the significance from three aspects. The second chapter discussed the practice, operation, and function of newspaper. The third chapter the historical situation which located from Tan Sitong embarks elaborates the stern social reality, the Western culture inspiration, the widespread society to study away from home and with the publication friend's contact the influence which formed to the Tan Sitong publication thought. The fourth chapter discussed the characteristic of Tan Sitong's newspaper thought and the historical value of Tan Sitong's newspaper thought, has carried on objectively the historical evaluation. By way of studying Tan Sitong's thought on newspaper, the paper reaches a conclusion that in Tan Sitong's practice of reformative movement, the pursuit of freedom, democracy, and equality served as the drive for his endeavors.
