Kulanketzigan Coalmine area is located in the east of Zundong Coal-field of Xinjiang Junggar Basin. The area covers about 118km2, and is bounded by parallels 44°24′00″ and 44°30′45″North latitude and meridians 90°30′00″and 90°42′00″East longitude. The administrative division is belonged to Mulei Hazaka Autonomous County and Qitai County of Changji Hui Nationality Autonomous Prefecture. 普查区自然地貌 Gobi Geomorphy of the Reconnaissance Area施工中的钻机 Rig is drilling for Exploration一、煤田概况General Statues of the Coalmine该矿区由山东省地质测绘院于2005年至 2006年进行了煤炭资源预查及普查。

The pre-exploration and reconnaissance is carried out by Shandong Provincial Geological Surveying and Mapping Institute in 2005 and 2006 respectively. 普查区位于303省道北侧,距离木垒县城北约80km,由木垒县城向西270km可达乌鲁木 齐,向东直达巴里坤县及哈密市木垒县至鸣沙山风景区的公路从普查区东南部通过, 向西有便道约30km可达奇台县煤矿普查区属低平的戈壁丘陵区,可通行越野车,交 通较为方便 The reconnaissance area lies on the north side of No.316 national highway, which extends a distance of 80km from northern Mulei County. The county extends westwardly to Urumchi and the distance is about 270km while it extends eastwardly to Bakun County and Honey City. There is a highway from Mulei County to Mingshashan scenery spot passing through the southeast of the Area; a road through the west of the area can reach Qitai County Coalmine. The Reconnaissance area shows low and plain gobi hilly landforms where off-road car can go through. The transportation is convenient. 该区地势较为平坦,海拔高度750 ~820m,属戈壁地区。

大陆性气 候,四季干燥区内无常年性地表 径流,有两处常年性泉水,可作为 生产生活用水The area is a plain gobi landform, which the altitude ranges from 750m- 820m. The area is continental climate and the seasons are all dry. No perennial surface runoff is in the area. Only are there two perennial springs can be used for drinking or producing. Location and Transportation of the Coalmine Area 山东省地质测绘院在该区拥有四个探矿权 ,总面积117.98 km2四个探矿权均位于 准东煤田之中,探矿权边界相连,可统一 划分井田或采区 The institute possesses exploration rights for four blocks in Zundong Coal-field covering 117.98 km2. The boundaries of the four blocks are contiguous. They can be divided into unified well-field or mining area.目前在本普查区外的老君庙以东有四个煤炭生产矿井,集中分布于老君庙东侧背斜东南 翼,年产量总计约20余万吨。

At present there are four mining wells near the reconnaissance area concentrating in the southeast wing of eastern side in Laojunmiao anticline, with production of about 200,000 t/a.• 矿区地质概况Introduction 普查区内煤层自然露头 Natural Coal Outcrop in the Area该区属东准葛尔拗陷区(Ⅱ级)的将军戈壁拗陷(Ⅲ级)中的老君庙凹陷区(Ⅳ级) ,为准葛尔中新生代拗陷盆地东部边缘地区The area is located in Laojunmiao depression (Ⅳ grade) which is belonged to the Ⅲ-grade Jiangjun Gobi depression and Ⅱ-grade East Junggar depression. The location is the edge of east part of Junggar depression basin of Middle-Mesozoic.矿区内含煤地层为侏罗纪下统八道湾组和中 统西山窑组。

煤系基底为二叠纪或石炭纪地 层,上覆地层为中-上侏罗世石树沟群和新近 纪独山子组 The coal-bearing stratum of the area is Badaowan formation belonged to Early-Jurassic and Xishanyao formation belonged to Middle- Jurassic. The basement of the coal-formation is Permian or Carboniferous strata while the overlaying of the coal-formation is Shigoushu group belonged to Middle-upper Jurassic strata and Dushanzi formation of Cenozoic.二、矿区地质 Geology of the Coalmine Area 矿区内构造较简单主要有3条断层,分别为F1逆断层:区内长10200m,斜交于F3逆断 层之上,走向北东45°,倾向南东,最大断距150m,控制着矿区的西北部边界。

F2正断层:矿区内长度为7000m,走向北东10°,倾向北西,倾角70°,将矿区分为东西 两块 F3逆断层:矿区内长6700m,走向自矿区东部边界起为近东西向转北西向30°,倾向北东 ,倾角 45°,最大断距为300m,将矿区东部分为南北两大块段北部抬升,出露侏罗系 八道湾组含煤地层,南部沉降,保留着侏罗系西山窑组含煤地层 The tectonic and structure is relatively simple in the area. There are three major faults described as follow: F1 reverse fault extends 10200m with its direction of strike of NE 45°and SE tilt. The largest fault amplitude is 150m. It inclines cross above reverse F3fault and controls the northwest boundary of the coalmine. F2 Normal fault extends 7000m with its strike direction of NE 10°, NW tilt and dip 70°. The fault divides the coalmine area into west block and east block. F3 Reverse fault extends 6700m with its strike direction of near EW changing to NW 30°from the east boundary of the coalmine and NE tilt. The dip is 45°.The largest fault amplitude is 150m. The fault divides the coalmine area into north block and south block. The northern part lifts and appears coal-bearing strata of Badaowan formation of Jurassic strata while the southern part depresses and keeps coal-bearing strata of Xishanyao formation of Jurassic.煤系地层内未见岩浆岩。
