2、andhehatestheSocsbecausehealwaysgetsjumpedbythem.DarryandSodapoparehiselderbrothers,andtheybothdroppedoutofschooltoworkinordertoraisemoneyforPonyboysstudy.Throughseeingamovietogetherwitharichbutkindgirl,Cherry,PonyboyrealizesthatnotallSocsarebad.Johnnyishisbestfriend,heusedtobeveryweak,butafterbeing

3、jumpedby4Socs,hebeesmadandusuallybringsaswitchbladewithhim,andifthereisanyonewhowantstoplaytricksonhim,hewillkillthatone.Suddenly,inaweek,Johnnydiesinafire,Bob(hisfriend)iskillbysomeoneunwillingly,Dally(themostviolentgreaser)killhimselfbecauseJohnnysdeath.Ponyboygrowsalot,realizetheloveofhisfamilies

4、andfriends,andpromisestobeagoodman,andnotfightanymore. Thisisreallyaheroicstory,andIlearntalotfromit. Firstofall,Irealizedthatweshouldntassessanyonejustbyknowingabouthisbackground.Inthebook,Ponyboythoughtthatlifewasunfair-Socsalwayswin,Greasersalwayslose.Socscouldeasilygotocollege,butGreaserssometim
