1、Unit6 I am going to study computer science教学设计一、教学目标 （一）知识与能力1能掌握以下掌握下列词汇：resolution, team, foreign, be able to, question, meaning, discuss, promise, beginning, write down, physical, themselves, have to do with; self-improvement, take up, hobby, weekly, schoolwork.2能通过阅读短文，学会相应的阅读策略。如准确找出各段主旨，明确段落中各
2、句之间的逻辑关系，辨认关键词，准确找到主题句。3能运用动词的将来时描述未来的打算。（二）过程与方法通过自主阅读，教师讲解，小组讨论等方式完成教学内容。本课时的教学法建议：阅读教学以任务链活动为主线，帮助学生在掌握语篇信息的同时，发展相应的阅读技能，提升阅读水平。（三）情感态度与价值观通过学习激发学生的学习主动性和学习兴趣，使他们更加有理想，并为实现自己的理想制定切实可行的计划。二、教学重难点（一）教学重点1掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。2阅读短文，获得相关信息，提高学生们的综合阅读能力。（二）教学难点1在语境中理解和掌握本课时出现的生词及短语。2对阅读语篇出现的多重阅读策略的领会和掌握。三、
3、教学策略通过阅读教学中五个紧密相连的任务链活动，旨在帮助学生在掌握语篇信息的同时，发展相应的阅读技能，提升阅读水平。四、教学过程Step 1：Lead in 教师让学生复述SectionB1d中Lucy,Kim,Mike三个人的新年计划，并让学生说说对于新年计划的理解和感受。【设计意图】复习目标短语和句型，并引入阅读话题，激活学生的学习动机。Step 2：ReadingActivity 1：Discussion教师要求学生分小组讨论课本45页2a中的两个问题。【设计意图】此环节不仅可以增进同学间对计划内容的了解，也有助于对计划实施情况的了解。Activity 2：Read and match
4、each paragraph with its main purpose in the box.首先要求学生盖住这三个主题句，快速阅读文章，写出一两个能描述每段中心思想的词，然后揭开这三个主题句，进行匹配。【设计意图】培养学生快速阅读，根据关键词来确定段落大意。Activity 3：Choose the suitable sentence for each blank in each paragraph.教师首先要求学生认真阅读短文的内容，特别是认真阅读空格前后句子的意思，以便根据上下文意及整个段落的意思来确定空格处应填的句子。然后将学生分成小组进行讨论，要求答案之后提供支撑信息。【设计意图】
5、旨在帮助学生明确段落中各句之间的逻辑关系，发展相应的阅读技能，提升阅读水平。Activity 4：Answer the questions with short answers.教师首先要求学生认真阅读课本46页2d中的五个问题，然后带着问题再次阅读短文，为相关问题找到恰当的答语；如果没有直接的答案，还应根据自己对课文的理解并结合自己的生活经历给出一个恰当的答案。将学生分成小组进行讨论，要求答案之后提供支撑信息。【设计意图】旨在帮助学生发展相应的阅读技能，提升阅读水平，通过小组活动，分享他人的观点。Activity 5：Make sentences with the phrases.教师首先要
6、求学生在文中找到这些短语，反复朗读短语所在句子，领会短语表达的真实含义，然后将这些短语以测试的方式还原到文章的缩写版中，学生可分成小组进行讨论，要求答案之后提供支撑信息。【设计意图】旨在提供更多的阅读机会，帮助学生发展相应的阅读技能，分析信息的能力，提升阅读水平，通过小组活动，学会团队合作，激发竞争意识。Step 3：Summary教师要求学生简要概括文章结构，学会的阅读方法，必要时教师补充。【设计意图】帮助学生有明确的知识体系和学习方法。Homework1. According to the New Curriculum Standard, I will present this lesson as follows:Lets begin with the analysis of the teaching material. This lesson is chosen from PEP English book of junior high school, the first semester of g
9、rade8, Unit 6. The main topic of this unit is about professions. After students finished this lesson, they could understand the usage of the basic structure of simply future tense “be going to”. Only after learning this lesson, can students learn the following lessons, such as the usage of “will”, t
10、he other way to express simple future tense, so this lesson is quite important to their further study.The second part is analysis of students.The next step is the analysis of students. Our students are in Grade 8. They have learnt English for many years, so they have got some basic skills of studyin
11、g English. However, speaking ability still needs to be developed. Thus the teacher should provide them more chances to practice speaking ability.According to the idea of New Curriculum Standard in English, I set the following teaching aims.First one is knowledge aims:(1)Students can understand the u
