1、Unit 1Listening & SpeakingI. Warm-up1. At the beginning of the class, say hello to several students to recall the common expressions of greeting.2. Let the students complete the conversations in Activity 1 and practice in pairs, guessing the relationship between those speakers. (Pic 1: Teacher & Stu

2、dent, Pic 2 : Schoolmates or Classmates, Pic 3: Mother & Daughter, Pic 4: Doctor & Patient )3. Ask the students how to address their teacher in the usual way. Then lead in the content of Activity 2, role-playing the conversation in pairs. II. Listening and Speaking A. Nice to Meet You!1. Let the cla

3、ss guess the relationship between the two students in Activity 1 after listening to the record of a conversation without opening their textbooks.2. Listen to the conversation again and underline those sentences about greetings and introductions.3. Require the students to read the conversation after

4、the video one sentence after another. And then make clear the main idea about the conversation. Practice the conversation in pairs.4. Brainstorming. Think about as many expressions on introducing yourself and relevant responses as possible. Then use those expressions to introduce each other in group

5、s, referring to the short dialogue in Activity 3. 5. Complete the conversation in Activity 4 to consolidate what youve learnt about greeting and introduction.
