Ibegantofeeldifferentfromeveryoneelse,sincemyfriendsweregraduating,celebrating,andeagertomoveontonewchaptersintheirlives.butIcouldnotjointhemandcelebratewiththem.Iespec
3、iallyfounditinterestingtoseehowothersaroundmedealtwithmynews.Someactedsuddenlydistantforlackofwords,somedramatizedthewholething,andsomeactedperfectlynormal,whichfeltthemostfortableforme. Withindays,Ihadpacpallofmycollegebelongingsandheadedhomewithmyfamilyreadytofacethisunexpectedhurdle.Iimmediatelyt
4、urnedtomybestfriendfromhighschool.Shehadgohroughcancerinoursenioryear,andbecauseofwatchinghercourageouslyoveresomanyobstaclesfouryearsbefore,IknewshecouldgivemethefuelIneededformyownbattle. Asmysurgerydatetoremovethetuotcloser,Iwasexperiencingintensephysicalpain.Partofmewanteditoverwithandtheotherpa
5、rtofmewasingunglued.ThewallofstrengthIhadbuiltwascrumbling.IwassoangrythatIhadtogothroughthiswhenallthosearoundmeweregoingonwiththeirlives.Ispentalotoftimeasking,whyme? Butsomethingwonderfulstartedhappeninginthemidstofallthis.Ibegantoseeallthebeautyaroundmeinawhollynewway.Thesmallestthingsstartedtoc
6、atchmyeye.Inoticedhowcolorfulandsereneasunsetcouldbewhenyoutooktimetoenjoyit.Bladesofgrasscascadingalonghillsideslookedabrightershadeofgreen.Asmallchildslaughterbecameaninstantremedyforabadday. Miraculously,Iwokeupfromsurgerygratefultobealiveandwell.tobegivenasecondchance.Myrecoverywasalongprocessas
7、Ilearnedtowalkagainanddosimpletasks.IrememberwhenIwenthomeandstudiedmybaldheadforthefirsttime.Itshouldnthavesurprisedme,butitdid! Lifecansurethrowagoodcurveballwhenyouleastexpectit.YetIvehadthisnewstart,andImenjoyingeveryminuteofit.Iusedtohearpeoplesayyoushoulddreamtheunimaginable,andNow,dreamingbig

Youcantriumphandetoskill;youcanbegreatifyouonlywill.Youarewellequippedforthefightyouchooseyouhavearmsan
10、dlegsandbrainstouse.Andpeoplewhohaverisen,greatdeedstodostartedtheirliveswithnomorethanyou. Youarethehandicapyoumustface.Youaretheonewhomustchooseyourplace.Youmustsaywhereyouwanttogo,andhowmuchyouwillstudythetruthtoknow.Godhasequippedyouforlife,butheletsyoudecidewhatyouwanttobe. Thecouragemustefromt

Wegrewup,andthingsseemedlikehavingtheirownway.Weacceptoursuccessorfailuresandwemoveon.Therapidchange,theneedtodotheurgentthings,theworks,thepressuresandthefailures,allkillpartofourvisions. Thingshavechanged,buttheycanno
14、treallytakeawaythedreams.Westillhavetodreamon,tovisualizeourdesires,ourwants,ourvisionofourfuture,evenwhenweareconsideredtoooldforsuchthings. CornellSandersstartedhisbusinesswhenhewassixty,andstartedthewholesuccessfulKFCbusiness.Themainthingisnottheagewhetherbeingtooold,ortooyoung,butitisthedesireto

Theabilitytodreamonisoneofthefinequalitiesofhumanracethatotherspeciesdonotpossess.Sodreamon,andputadeadline:makeitagiantdream,atinyone,anoldeverlastingone,anew-foundone,ahobby-relatedone,achangeoflifeone,areligiousone,astupidone,astrokeofgeniusone,orjustwhatever.justcontinuetodreamon.Then,JustGoandDoIt! （四）WeWereDeartoEachOther相亲相爱 Straybirdsofsummeretomywindowtosingandflyaway.
