6、tanincreasingrateandfoodproductioncannotkeepupwiththepopulationincrease.peopleinrichcountriesmaketheheaviestdemandsontheworldsresources,itsfood,fuelandland,andcausethemostpollution.ababybornintheunitedstateswil luseinhislifetime30timesmoreoftheworldsresourcesthanababyborninindia.unlessallthecountrie
7、softheworldtakeunitedactiontodealwiththepopulationexplosiontherewillbemoreandmorepeoplefightingforashareoflessandlessland,foodandfuel,andthefuturewillbringpoverty,miseryandwartousall. formostofthedevelopingcountries,itisagoodideatocontrolthepopulationgrowth.forexample,chinahascarriedoutbirthcontrolf

14、practiced,therewerealotoftroubles.youknow,sometimesyouneedtogowithyourfeet,butsometimesyouneedtogowithyourheart.insomesituations,wefacedthedifficultiesandproblems.andweneedtosolvethatthroughteamworkandstrongwillpower.sowecanrunfaster,gohigherandbestronger.thatiswhatwesayolympicspirit. nowthedreamcametrue.imstandingherewithallmybodyandmyheartputinsports.sodothepeoplefromallovertheworldtohereattheolympicgames.itstheolympicgamesthatmakeustogether.wearehereforabigdayofsport;wearehereforadreamofsports.wearehereforaspiritofsportthatencouragesustofacethedifficultiesoftodayandtomorrow.
