1、一seem常常和不定式，形容词，分词，名词和介词短语搭配。如:,1seem+不定式（短语） I seemed to hear a voice in the distance 我好像听到那边有声音。 Your advice seems to be doing me a favor . 你的建议似乎帮了我个大忙。 I seem to have caught a cold . 我好像感冒了。,注意：,1.seem后跟不定式（短语）时，要注意不定式所表示动作发生的时间，以此来确定不定式的时态。 不定式的一般式(to do)表示的动作或状态通常发生在谓语动作之后或同时发生 进行式(to be doing
2、)表示其动作正在进行，与谓语动词发生的动作同时进行。 完成式(to have done)表示的动作或状态通常发生在谓语动作之前。 2.seem后不定式的否定式习惯上用 dont 来代替，放在seem 前： You dont seem to be quite yourself today ( =You seem not be quite yourself today. ),2.seem +形容词,a) She seems quite happy today. b) The enemy seems powerful but in fact it is weak. 注此句式可看作是seem +to
3、be +adj.句式的一种简化形式。 如例a可转换为： She seems to be quite happy today. 例b可转换为： The enemy seems to be powerful but in fact it is weak. 但目前由于英语的发展，seem+to be+形容词结构的用法已越来越少，seem+adj的结构已趋成型，属口语语体。,4、seem+名词,a) She seems a clever girl. b) Her mother seems a teacher. c) It seemed a long time before my turn came.,
4、5.seem+介词短语,They seemed in high spirits.,seem 常用句型,用于说明主语的特征或状态，表语多为名词或形容词，有时是其他的词或短语。 Tom seems (to be) a very clever boy. Mr. Black seemed (to be) quite happy.,一、主语+seem + (to be) +表语,二、“主语+ seem + 不定式”,此句型中的seem与不定式一起构成复合谓语。 The young man seemed to have changed much. Mrs Green doesnt seem （或seems
5、 not ） to like the idea.,It seems +that 从句,It 是形式主语，that引导主语从句。 It seems that no one knows what has happened in the park It seems to me that Mr Brown will not come again.,There seem to be+名词,to be可以省略，seem的单复数形式要根据后面作主和的名词的单复数形式而定。 There doesnt seem to be much hope of our beating that team. There seems no need to wait longer.,
