1、短语provide sb. with sth. 与provide sth. for sb.意思相同，均为“为某人提供某物”，两者通常可相互转换。 provide用作及物动词 1. 意为“提供；供应；供给”，表示供给所需物品以方便使用，其后常接名词或代词作宾语或双宾语，并且常和介词with / for搭配使用。如： The peasants provide us with grain and vegetables. 农民供给我们粮食和蔬菜。 Did your parents provide food and clothes for you in the university? 你父母供给你在大学
