3、truction,外壳: UL867 1. 用于(移动式)外壳的金属材料厚度应满足:不上漆是0.66 mm;镀锌是0.76 mm;其他是0.91 mm。尺寸小和通过卷曲等加强强度的除外。 2. 木外壳的厚度不能小于 12.7 mm。 3. 非金属外壳(大部分为塑胶)满足UL746C,最低HB可以满足要求。,CSA C22.2 No.187 1. 用于外壳的金属材料厚度应满足:table 1, 2, 3。特别出管部分钢铁为0.78 mm; 非铁材料部分为1.08 mm 。 2. 非金属外壳(大部分为塑胶)防火等级满足CSA C22.2 No.0.17,要求5VA才能满足要求。,外壳测试 UL86

4、7: 外壳根据标准要求需要进行钢球冲击测试(6.8J包括护栏)来评估材料的抗冲击性能。 要是外壳和护栏是非金属,那么要分别在两台样机上做冲击测试,一台直接冲击,另一台要在至少70度的条件下放置7小时然后冷却到室温再做冲击。 室外使用的设备要先在-35度条件下放置3小时再接着做冲击。 (clause 27),Section 1 Mechanical Construction,CSA C22.2 No. 187 非金属外壳要做的外壳和护栏强度测试(推力50 N,只是针对带电部件)。 (clause 6.11),Accessibility of live part and Moving Parts

7、:最小18 AWG。 插头需为三芯插或极性插,其额定电压等于产品额定电压,额定电流不小于产品额定电流(=12A)的1.25倍;,Internal Wiring 1、需适当保护,通过外壳开孔,允许被测试手指触及,但不允许被钩拉; 2、内部导线的布线应远离运动部件及带锐利边缘的部件,以防绝缘损伤。若穿过壁厚小于1.07mm的金属开孔时,该金属开孔需作折边处理或在开孔处增加壁厚为1.2mm的套管,如下图: 3、线号:没有要求,满足电流的使用要求就行。 4、绝缘厚度: UL867要求初级最小为0.8 mm,比较短的零部件引线等不会碰到不同极性的电线或者地的可以使用0.4 mm。CSA没有要求 5、相关

8、属性需符合特定的使用环境要求,如电压、电流、温度等。当电线的电压达不到使用的电压要求时,该电线被当做live part。,Section 2 Electrical Construction,Spacing 1. The spacings in a component device, such as a snap switch, a lampholder, a motor, and the like supplied as part of an air cleaner shall not be less than the minimum spacings required for the com

9、ponent device or the spacings specified in Table 23.1, whichever are smaller,Section 2 Electrical Construction,Section 2 Electrical Construction,The spacings in a line-voltage circuit shall comply with Table 23.1. Exception No. 1: Minimum 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) through air and over surface spacings befo

10、re potting for parts that are potted in an insulating compound may be applied. A thermoplastic potting compound is to be evaluated with regard to its acceptability for the application. If an investigation is necessary to determine if a material may be used, such investigation is to be conducted in a

11、ccordance with the Standard for Polymeric Materials Use in Electrical Equipment Evaluations, UL 746C. Consideration is to be given to: a) The mechanical strength of the material, resistance to hot wire ignition, resistance to highcurrent- arc ignition, resistance to high-voltage-arc ignition, dielec

12、tric strength, insulation resistance, and heat-resistant qualities, in both the aged and unaged conditions; b) The degree to which the material is enclosed; and c) Any other feature affecting the risk of fire, electric shock, electrical high-energy current levels, or injury to persons. All factors a

13、re to be considered with regard to conditions of actual service. Exception No. 2: On a printed-wiring board, the over surface spacing may be reduced to 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) if the board is coated with a conformal coating complying with the Standard for Polymeric Materials-Use in Electrical Equipment E

14、valuations, UL 746C. Exception No. 3: On a printed wiring board, spacing requirements (other than for spacings to ground, between different circuits, and at field wiring terminals) may be waived between traces of different potentials connected in the same circuit if: a) The spacings comply with the

15、Evaluation of Reduced Spacings on Printed-Wiring Boards, Section 48; b) The printed-wiring board has a flammability classification of V-0, in accordance with the requirements in the Standard for Tests for Flammability of Plastic Materials for Parts in Devices and Appliances, UL 94; and c) The printe

16、d wiring board is constructed from a base material having a minimum Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) Performance Level Category rating of 2 in accordance with the Standard for Polymeric Materials Use in Electrical Equipment Evaluations, UL 746C.,Section 2 Electrical Construction,23.4.1 Spacings between an insulated or uninsulated high-voltage part and: a) Insulated or uninsulated line-voltage circuit parts, b) Other high-voltage parts of opposite polarity, and c
