1、Dear judges, Good afternoon! Today its my honor to present my lesson here. In order to make my presentation much clearer , Ill talk about from following four aspects : teaching background, teaching and learning methods, teaching procedure and blackboard design. Now Im going to present them one by on

2、e. First, please follow me to my teaching background, including the analysis of teaching material, the students situation, the teaching objectives and the teaching important and difficult points. The teaching material: this lesson is from Lets spell, Unit 4, Book 3 PEP. Its mainly about the pronunci

3、ation rule of u-e. I think students should not only learn to read, but also learn to catch the pronunciation rules, which will help them to lay a sound foundation for their future English study. In terms of the students in Grade 4, they still hold great interest in the world around them, so they wil

4、l be very curious and active in the class. However, they are still lack of concentration, which will lead to their distraction during the learning process.Based on my analysis of teaching material and students situation, I decide my teaching objectives as below .The first is knowledge and skill obje

5、ctive: all the students can master the pronunciation rule of u-e and correctly read the words including u-e, such as use, cute, excuse.The second is the process and method objective: through performances, students can arouse the sense of learning English words by pronunciation rules.The last is emot

6、ion, attitude and value objective: inspire students interest of learning English and the spirit of cooperation and competition.According to my teaching objectives, I decide my teaching important and difficult points as follow. The important one is the pronunciation rule of u-e while the difficult po

7、int is the distinction between the pronunciations of u-e and u. Considering the students characteristics, I will adopt direct teaching method and phonic teaching method .Besides, in order to arouse every students interest, I design this lesson as a competition between boys and girls. Each team which

8、 does well can get one point. In the end, the team which gets more points will be the winner. Thus, in this lesson, students will learn by cooperation and competition.During the lesson, the multimedia will be needed.Next please move to my teaching procedure, which is divided to five parts. Part 1: W

9、arming upAt the beginning of the class,I will lead students to review five vowels, a, e, i, o, u . After that, boys and girls will compete to say the words, which contain the sounds, a-e ei ,a ,i-e a, i i , o-u , o . 通过男女生竞答来复习包含三组对比音 ei - , a- i , - 的单词,有助于学生形成迁移思维来理解本课的重难点:重点是带了小尾巴e的单词中,u发本身的字母音 j

10、u: ,没有带小尾巴e的单词中,u一般发 。对这两者的区分,则是本课的难点。Part 2: PresentationIll present the picture and two questions “Look! How many cats?”and “How many balls?”to introduce the chant of this lesson. Students like chant very much, so they will practice it happily, (播放歌谣) After students answer the questions, Ill lead

11、them to catch two key words in the chant: “cute, use” and add one similar word: “excuse”. Ill emphasis the pronunciation of u-e is ju: , and show three pictures for students to understand the meanings of the words, meanwhile ,use the phonic teaching method to share their pronunciations . After that,

12、 I will put three words together, ask students to observe carefully. Then, boys and girls will compete to conclude the pronunciation rule of u-e. 介于四年级学生学习英语的时间仅一年,对英语的理解和运用能力有限,因此我采用直接法由本课的chant引出两个关键词 cute, use 以及直接介绍一个类似词 excuse 。通过三张图片让学生了解这三个单词的意思,通过直拼法让学生学会这三个单词的发音。随后将三个单词纳总,引导学生仔细观察,通过男女生竞答来揭

13、示带小尾巴e的单词中u的发音规律。To distinguish the pronunciations of u-e ju: and u , I will list the words including the sound for students to review: cut, bus, cup and up. Then boys and girls will compete to finish the exercise as follow (备注:PPT 20页的习题 ).通过列举没带小尾巴e的单词中u发 ,并且男女竞争完成相关的区分练习,可以让学生清晰的了解到,在一般情况下,带了小尾巴e

14、单词中,u发本身的字母音 ju: ,没带小尾巴e的单词中,u发 。 Part 3: PracticeI design two activities for the students to practice the new knowledge. The first is pair work. Pairs of students will use the words in this lesson to make a dialogue. One pair from each group will come to the front to show their dialogue. For exampl

15、e, they can make a dialogue like this: Excuse me! Can I use your cute cup? Here you are. In this way, they can fully practise the key word. 通过搭档运用本课关键词自编对话,并且上台表演,即可锻炼学生运用知识的能力,又可培养其竞争与合作意识。The second is that students will finish the exercises in Listen circle and say and Listen circle and write. In

16、 this course, students can do something by themselves. Its important for students to learn by themselves. And I think its better to taste than to be told. When they make some mistakes, its time for me to correct and emphasize. Im only the helper. 在课堂上留出给学生自主练习的时间是很重要的。在这个过程中,教师仅仅充当帮助学生纠正错误的角色。当所有的习题核对完后,可以请学生对本课
