Later they began to wear clothes covered all over in buttons.,Life Guard,Foot Guard,Unfortunately the English dont really have a traditional National Dress as such. There have been calls over the years to create a costume,
3、 but as usual no-one can decide on what it should look like. Even Henry VIII got in on the act and commissioned（委派） an artist called Van Dyck to create an English National Costume, this also failed.the Guard are very important because they look after the queen and her jewels. Some people say this is
4、 the nearest thing to the national costume in England.,The national costume of scotland,Today traditional dress for men in Scotland is a kilt（苏格兰短裙） with shirt, waistcoat（背心） and tweed（粗花呢） jacket, stockings with garter（吊袜带） flashes, brogue（皮制的） shoes and a sporran（毛衣袋）.
