2、go back to our presentation, my topic today is the importance of recycling. Speaking of recycling, most of us will agree with its necessity. I dont think there is any necessity to say that recycling can save energy, protect the environment and so on, because we all know its meaning. What I want to s
3、ay is that how much energy we could save if we put the rubbish into right place.According to incomplete statistics, our country consume 4 billion plastic fastfood package, and 5 hundred million instant noodle bowls , accounting for 6% of waste plastic garbage. On average, in our country, an urban re
4、sident may cause about 1.5kg of garbage a day. Do you know that？ 1 ton of waste plastics can be converted into 600 kg of diesel. By recycling 500 tons of waste paper , 400 tons of wood that used for the production of paper can be saved . By melting one ton of cans to form a ton of good aluminum bloc
5、k, we can less mine 20 tons of aluminum ore. But it is unfortunate that there is no efficient recycling system in our country, and people have little awareness of garbage classification. A lot of people just throw trash without classifying. What a big waste of resources! In fact, whether in the stre
6、et or on campus, we always see trash can in pairs. A yellow one and a green one. I believe that everyone understand the meaning of these two signs. Besides, I hope you can throw away all the garbage in your house that is of no use to you. And separate them in different boxes, and th

This might be a little trouble and waste of time, but think about it, kitchen waste can be recycled to make livestock feed; hazardous waste recycling prevents pollution on humans and the environment; most of other components of the waste can be recycled.
9、 The waste of time compared to these advantages is simply negligible.Recycling is important in todays world if we want to leave this planet for our future generations. Maybe we dont have the capacity to deal with these garbage to become useful again, but what each of us can do is to classify the rubbish!Lets classify garbage, this is the biggest contribution that we can make for recycling. We should make contribution to conserve resources as we can.
