Fault Diagnosis Method,When a failure of CNC machine occurs, it is important to examine the real cause and take appropriate action. To do this, usually adopt the following methods: 数控机床出现故障时查找真正的原因,采取恰当的措施非常重要。为此通常采用下列方法: (1)Dir

3、ect-vision 直观法 1)Asking 2)Looking 3)Listening 4)Touching 5)Smelling,1. Fault Diagnosis Method,(2)Alarm function 报警功能法 Each machine has an alarm function. The alarm function of CNC machine can help people decide whether something is wrong with the machine or not. 每台机床都有报警功能,数控机床的报警功能可以帮助人们判断机床是否存在故障。

Fault Diagnosis Method,(3)Functional program test功能程序测试法 Make a function test program with CNC system GMST function to determine correctness and precision of the movement. 通过数控系统的GMST功能编制一个功能测试程序来确定运动的正确性和精度。 (4)Replacing parts备件置换法 If there is suspicion that some part has trouble, replace it wi

5、th a spare part to decide whether the machine has some troubles before the replacement of the part. 如果怀怀疑某个零件有故障,可以在更换该零件前用相应的备件来替换以确定是否发生故障。,1. Fault Diagnosis Method,(5)Check parameters参数检测法 Both the loss of the system parameters and incorrect settings may cause changes in the functioning of the m

6、achine or other troubles. Therefore, once the machine has some troubles, check and correct the system parameters timely. 系统参数丢失和不正确的设置都会引起机床性能改变或发生故障,因此发生故障时要及时核对和修正系统参数。 (6)Principle analysis原理分析法 Use the working principle to analyze the trouble and find out the source of trouble with the CNC machi

7、ne. 通过工作原理来分析故障并找到数控机床故障发生的原因。,2. Fault Diagnosis and Treatment of CNC Machine Base on PLC Technology,Example1: To a CNC lathe system equipped with FANUC OTC, when tramp on the footswitch, the workpiece cannot be chucked. 例1:配备FANUC OTC 系统的数控车床,当踩下脚踏开关时,工件不能被装夹。 Fault analysis: Let the footswitch co

8、nnect with PMC display screen and find that the input X2.2 is zero all the time after the footswitch is tramped. So we can estimate that there is something wrong with footswitch. 故障分析:根据机床的工作原理,当第一次踩下脚踏开关时,工件被装夹,当再次踩下脚踏开关时,工件被松开。让脚踏开关与PMC显示屏连接,当踩下脚踏开关后,发现输入X2.2始终为零。所以我们可以判断脚踏开关出现故障。 Fault treatment:

9、 Check footswitch and replace it with a new one. 故障处理:检查脚踏开关,更换一个新的。,2. Fault Diagnosis and Treatment of CNC Machine Base on PLC Technology,(2)Fault diagnosis according to I/O status of PLC Example2: There is a fault in a CNC machine that the protective door cannot be closed and the machine cannot d

10、o automatic processing. 例2:某数控机床的防护门不能关闭,不能进行自动加工。 Fault analysis: Check the status Q2.0 and find it is “1”, but electromagnetic valve YV2.0 is not in power. So we can say that the intermediate relay KA2.0 is damaged because PLC output Q2.0 controls electromagnetic valve YV2.0 by it. 故障分析:防护门的打开通过气缸

11、来实现,防护门的关闭通过电磁阀YV2.0控制,对应PLC的输出接口Q2.0。检查发现Q2.0的状态为“1”,但是电磁阀YV2.0不得电,于是判断中间继电器KA2.0 损坏,其原因在于电磁阀YV2.0的动作通过 PLC的输出接口Q2.0控制。 Fault treatment: Replace a new intermediate relay. Then the fault is excluded after replacement of relay. 故障处理:更换一个新的中间继电器,更换后故障被排除。,2. Fault Diagnosis and Treatment of CNC Machin

12、e Base on PLC Technology,(3)Fault diagnosis according to the alarm message Example 3: A CNC machining center equipped with CNC SINUMERIK 820 gives an alarm of 7035 and relative information in the report is the graduator of sub-table does not set down. 例3:配备820数控系统的某加工中心产生7035号报警,查阅报警信息为工作台分度盘不回落。 Fa

13、ult analysis: Observe from the PLC STATUS if I10.6 is “1”, it shows that the graduator rotates in place, and if I10.0 is “0”, it shows that the graduator does not set down. 从PLC STATUS中观察,I10.6为1,表明工作台分度盘旋转到位,I10.0为0,表明工作台分度盘未回落,2. 14、(3)Fault diagnosis according to the alarm message Then observe Q4.7, if it is “0”, KA32 relay shall not be electrified and electromagnetic valve YV06 does not work, so it alarms because the graduator does not set down. 再观察Q4.7为0,KA32继电器不得电,YV06电磁阀不动作,因而工作台分度盘不回落产生报警。,2. Fault Diagnosis and Treatment

15、 of CNC Machine Base on PLC Technology,(3)Fault diagnosis according to the alarm message Fault treatment: Move electromagnetic valve YV06 manually and observe whether the graduator set down or not to distinguish the fault whether in output circuit or in the internal PLC. 故障处理:手动移除YV06电磁阀,观察工作台分度盘是否回

16、落,以区别故障在输出回路还是在PLC内部。,3. Fault Diagnosis Device-SKF Equipment Condition Monitor,(1)Overview The SKF Equipment Condition Monitor provides an overall “Velocity” vibration reading that measures vibration signals from the machine and automatically compares them to preprogrammed International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines. The SKF Equipment Condition Monitor also measures temperature using an infrared sensor to indicate uncharacteristic heat. SKF设备状态监测仪,一方面可以进行设备振动“速度”总值读数测量,
