4、of American TV series and know of the world outside, it is very necessary to use the functional equivalence theory in subtitle translation.Owing to the particularity of film translation, the thesis is to put forward an idea that when translating, Nidas functional equivalence theory should be applied

To explain more fully the effectiveness of subtitle translation under equivalence theory, this article is to undertake a comprehensive analysis of the subtitle translation of Beauty and the Beast unde
