11、园网建设苏州高新区第二中学 信息技术 翁明杰建设校园网，构建现代化的教育环境，是教育现代化的重要内容，也是形成现代教育办学体系的重要组成部分。展望二十一世纪，全球信息化、网络化，更新教育思想，率先进入信息高速公路，以信息化、网络化的教育手段取代旧有的不适应现代教育的落后教学手段，实现网络教学、远程教学、教育资源共享的教育新时代正向我们走来。当前许多学校都在建设校园网，以使学校的教育实现现代化。如何抓好校园网的建设，充分发挥校园网的作用，在目前，至少在国内并没有成熟的经验给我们借鉴，是一个摆在我们面前的新课题，为此，以现代教育的观念，努力探索，不断创新，以创出一条具有中国特色的现代教育之路，是我
12、们广大教育工作者共同的任务。一 校园网建设的内涵及意义 校园网指校园内计算机及附属设备互联运行的网络，是由计算机、网络技术设备和软件等构成的为学校教育教学和管理服务的集成应用系统，并可通过与广域网的互联实现远距离信息交流和资源共享。校园网应为学校的教学、管理、日常办公、内外交流等各方面提供全面、切实的支持。应具备教师备课教学功能、学生学习功能、教务管理功能、行政管理功能、教育装备（含图书）管理功能、资源信息功能、内外交流功能等。校园网是实施“校校通”工程，满足学校信息化教学环境的一项重要的基础设施，是教育信息化建设的重要组成部分，是广大师生顺利接收现代远程教育的依托网络，是全面实现素质教育的重
13、要手段，是教育技术装备现代化的主要体现，也是教育现代化的重要标志之一。校园网在教学过程中合理有效地应用，不仅可以改变传统的教学模式、教学方法、教学手段，而且将会促进教育观念、教学思想的转变。校园网的应用，不仅可以大大拓展教师和学生的视野，而且有利于培养学生的创造性思维，提高学生获取信息、分析信息、处理信息的能力和适应现代社会的能力。教师在使用校园网等现代教育技术的过程中，也将增强终身学习的能力，不断提高业务水平。二 校园网络建设的主要功能 1、网络资源的检索和查寻，使网络资源能支持教师备课、上课和基于网络的学生个性化自主学习； 2、基于网络的通讯、研讨和交流活动，让师生学会在网上编写和发送电子
14、邮件、参加网上各种有意义的专题讨论，使用电子公告板、BBS论坛等，在当今网络化生活环境中，如果不会发送电子邮件，就像不会写信寄信一样困难。 3、网络中多媒体信息的组织与编写和利用，如编写学校、班级和个人的主页，这样，就可以把班级的黑板报办在网上，同时在学校办起网络杂志，使广大师生都能加入到网络文化的创作和发展中来，使网络在校园文化发展中成为一道亮丽的风景线。三 目前校园网建设存在的问题： 1、对校园网缺乏全面的认识和理解； 2、校园网建设缺少总体规划和指导，学校建网放任自流，重视硬件设备的投入，轻视软件建设和师资培训，致使校园网使用率不高； 3、缺乏立足于中小学教育信息化发展需要的整体设计，尤
15、其是忽视校园网络中关键性应用软件配制和资源中心的建设，结果造成许多校园网上有网无车、有车没有货，更缺少驾驶员，在这样的基础上发动老师大量地编了许多低层次重复性的教学软件，结果造成人才和网络资源的极大浪费。4、对于发展中小学校园网的必要性和紧迫性认识不足，并且存在着各种顾虑。5、纯技术的眼光，不是从学校教育教学过程的实际出发，以功能作为选择技术和硬件设备的标准，而是片面追求网络技术的先进性，尤其是中小学校园网络建设中机械套用大学校园网模式，脱离中小学教育教学发展实际，结果造成设备的浪费和闲置；6、校园网缺乏良好的管理与维护，或缺少运行资金，致使校园网不能正常运转；7、校园网产品质量参差不齐，可扩
16、展性和升级性差，售后服务跟不上，造成一些学校建网后的维护费用和改造费用过高，学校重复投资现象严重等，这些严重影响着校园网建设的健康发展，造成投入与效益比严重失调怎样才能从我国发达地区中小学教育现代化发展的现实与未来出发，立足于功能与效益的充分发挥，选择一条投资少、见效快的中小学校园网络发展新思路呢？四 探讨校园网建设现有的校园网，应该具有较先进水平，要以现代教育的思想全面考虑，有超前意识，力求使校园网络和各种电教设备、设施能达到现代最新科学技术的水平，与国际接轨。因为校园网的主要功能是教育、教学（还有教师备课、学校管理、信息管理、后勤管理等），教学中在网上交互传送的都是图像、声音、录像等数字、视频信息，其带宽要求高，一般的10M、100M网并不适合学校使用，必须达到1000M网或1000M主干的100M网才适用（或以交换机联接的100M网）。校园网的终端信息点应配置计算机，尤其是教室，绝不能缺少，有条件的还应多配几台，在国外的学
