1、,Saint Patricks Day is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on 17，March. It commemorates Saint Patrick (c. AD 387461), the most commonly recognised of the patron saints(守护神 )of Ireland, and the arrival of Christianity (基督教) in Ireland. Saint Patricks Day has come to be associated with everyth
2、ing Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks (三叶草）and luck. Most importantly, to those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patricks Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal(获得新生 )and offering prayers for missionaries(传教士） worldwide.,Saint Patrick was the patron saint（ 保护神）and national apo

Most of what is known about him comes from his two works, the Confessio（忏悔录）， a spiritual autobiography, and his Epistola（使徒书）, a denunciation （谴责）of British mistreatment of Irish christians.
