11、s us?,When we are reading a paragraph, we should first try to identify the main idea of the paragraph and then try to separate the major detail from the secondary or less important details. There are two ways to help us locate the major details:,Reading for major details,Skills of reading for major

12、details,Learn to read for the main idea. If we are active readers and keen enough to identify the main idea of a paragraph, the major detail to support that main idea will stand out.,Understand that facts, evidence and details in a paragraph are not equally important. Only look for those that furthe
