12、的形容词是too后面的形容词的反义词。如: He is too young to join the army.=He is not old enough to join the army. 他太年轻了,还不能参军。,考向3:too.to.结构可与so.that.相互转换。如: 当too.to.句型改成so.that.句型时,为保持句意的一致,that 引导的结果状语从句中需根据时态用cant或couldnt加动词原形,以强调能力。如: The old man was too weak to move.=The old man was so weak that he couldnt move.

13、那位老人太虚弱了,不能动。,注意:在too.to.结构中,当too修饰good, glad, happy, kind, ready等词时,后面的动词不定式不具有否定意义,too相当于very,作“非常”讲。如: Shes too (=very) willing to help you. 她非常愿意帮助你。 Im too happy to do it. 我非常高兴做这件事。 Beginners are too easy to make such mistakes. 初学者很容易犯这样的错误。,【考点冲关】 11.
