6、Fees from September 2013)_Medical Health InsurancePatients with Aviva, VHI or Quinn health insurance may be covered for a rebate on the GP consultation fee and on most policies, many of the minor operative procedures including cryotherapy may be covered completely. Cover would depend on the policy t
7、ype and more information can be obtained from their individual websites for which links can be found on the “useful forms and links page”.Visiting and Temporary Patients from Outside Galway, the UK and Overseas.Patients visiting on holidays from outside Galway who are in need of medical assistance a
8、re welcome to be seen here at Galway City Medical Centre. Those with a medical card registered with a GP outside of Galway can be seen here free of charge. Visitors from the UK in possession of a valid NHS number are entitled to free medical care here for the first 3 months of their stay. Similarly, patients from the EU in possession of a valid European Health Insurance Card ( EHIC) are entitled to access GP services here, also, free of charge. Any patient in need of any GP services, outside of these categories, can be seen here with same day appointments at the usual treatment fees above. -
