1、Chapter Ten 动词一. be 动词:是动词中最常用的词,它的变化及基本句型如下:1.be动词是am, is, are的原形,它的用法是：I用am，you用are，is用在他她它，其它复数都用are；eg: I am a student. You are a teacher. She is a worker.2.am,is,are的缩写形式：I am=Im you are=youre what is=whats she is=shes但在以下两种情况下不能用缩写形式：对一般疑问句进行肯定回答时Eg: Are you a teacher? Yes, I am. B.当主语是以结尾的单词时
2、 Eg: This is a book. 不能写成Thiss a book二. 连系动词:1. 单纯表示一个特征或状态: (即感观性动词)be, feel, look, sound, taste, smell, seem;eg: I feel a little bit cold. The flowers smell sweet.2. 表示由一种状态变为另一种状态: (即变动词)come, grow, get, turn, fall,become;eg: He became an inventor. The leaves turned yellow.3. 表示保持某种状态:stay,deep,c
3、ontinue(依旧);eg: The window stayed open all the time.注: 表示状语的连系动词一般不用于进行时(feel除外); 连系动词表示变化 “渐渐”时,可用进行时态.三. 行为动词:行为动词又叫实义动词,有完整的词义,能表示一个动作,能独立作谓语,可以分为及物动词和不及物动词.及物动词后必须加宾语意思才完整,而不及物动词不能直接加宾语;四. 助动词:助动词本身没有意义,不能单独作谓语,只能和动词原形一起构成谓语部分,它只是帮助句子完成否定句,一般疑问句等;常用的助动词有:do,does,have,shall,will,did;五. 情态动词:情态动词表
4、示说话者的语气和情态表示主观设想.情态动词本身有一定的词义,但不能单独作谓语,必须和动词原形连用,没有人称和数的变化,常用的情态动词有: can, may, must, need, will, would, shall, should, dare, ought to, used to六. 非谓语动词:非谓语指动词不能做谓语,包括不定式,分词等.练习:一. 选择填空:1. -Who _that ?- _Frank.
