2、否定。如： He is off tea. 他不想喝茶。 Shes off work with a bad cold. 她因患重感冒而不上班。,【延伸】off还可作副词，有如下含义： （1）意为“离开”。如： They drove off. 他们开车离开了。 （2）意为“未连接；不工作”。如： The radio is off. 录音机是关着的。 （3）意为“休息”。如： We get one day off. 我们休息一天。,2. on ones own 独立地；独自地 【点拨】on ones own意为“独立地；独自地”，相当于alone, by oneself。而of ones own意为
3、“某人自己的”。如： Will John use his brothers bike? 约翰要用他哥哥的自行车吗？ No, he has a bike of his own. 不，他有自己的自行车。 You mustnt go off on your own. 你不能一个人离开。,3. something to eat 吃的东西 【点拨】修饰不定代词如something, nothing, anything, somebody, nobody等的形容词和动词不定式要放在这些不定代词的后面。如： Hello!I have something important to tell you. 你好！我
4、有重要的事情要告诉你。,4. come on 快点儿；得了吧 【点拨】come on在不同的语境中有不同的意思。 （1）意为“快点儿”。如： Come onwere going to be late if you dont hurry. 快点儿如果你不快点儿我们就要迟到了。 （2）表示不相信，意为“得了吧”。如： Itll take at least two hours to do this! 至少要花两个小时才能干完！ Oh, come on!I can do it in twenty minutes. 噢，得了吧！我二十分钟就能干完。,5. lead v. 带（路）；领（路） 【点拨】le
5、ad意为“带（路）；领（路）”。如： I dont know the way, so youd better lead. 我不认识路，所以你最好带路。 Come on!Ill lead the way. 走吧！我来带路。,6. careful adj. 小心的；认真的 【点拨】careful作形容词，意为“小心的；认真的”。其用法如下： （1）careful后接介词of或者about，意为“当心；留意”。如： You have to be very careful of the traffic in Beijing. 你要非常小心北京的车流。 I hope youll be more care
6、ful of/about your health. 我希望你要多注意身体。,（2）表示“做某事小心/仔细”时，careful后面一般接in doing sth.。如： You must be very careful in making friends. 你必须小心交友。 此时careful如果后接名词，则一般用介词with。如： Be careful with the vase; it is valuable. 这花瓶很贵，小心点。,（3）careful后接不定式，意为“注意要做某事”。要注意该用法和后接in doing sth.的区别。如： Hes careful to read ever
7、y sentence. 他注意读每一个句子。（即不漏读） Hes careful in reading every sentence. 他读每个句子都很仔细。,（4）careful后可接从句作宾语。如： Do be careful （about） what you say. 一定要小心你说的话。,【注意】careful后接that从句时，从句谓语若指将来，一般要用一般现在时代替将来时。如： Be careful that you dont hurt her feelings. =Be careful not to hurt her feelings. 当心别伤害她的感情。,You have t
8、o keep together so you dont get lost. 你们不得不在一起以便于你们不会迷路。 【点拨】此句句型为：.so.，意为“以便于”，相当于.so that.。so引导目的状语从句。如： We learn English so （that） we may get more knowledge. 我们学英语为的是获得更多的知识。,They got up early so （that） they could catch the first bus. 他们早起以便能赶上第一班公共汽车。 He spoke slowly so （that） everybody understood him. 他讲话讲得慢以便于每个人都能听懂他。,
