1、语法讲解 之状语从句,含义及分类,状语从句主要用来修饰主句或主句的谓语。一般可分为九大类，分别表示时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、条件、让步、比较和方式。,时间状语从句,定义：指从句在句中作时间状语。 引导词：when, whenever, as, while, since, till, until, before, after, as soon as, once等 基本用法：,英语中时间关系表达法,Examples,After Christmas and New Year comes the Chinese lunar New Year - the Spring Festival. Please write to me as soon as you arrive in Beijing.,when, as和while,1,当when, as, while表示“在一段时间里”，主从句的动作同时发生时，可以换用。如： While (When或As) the children were playing computer games, Mr. Smith came in. 2,when, while后可以接分词短语 。如： When reading books, he likes to make some comments.
4、 They bought a lot of things while spending their holidays in Paris.,when,When可指一段时间，也可指一点时间，既可指一时性的动作，也可表示持续的动作，因此其所引导的时间状语从句的谓语动词既可以用延续性动词，又可以用瞬间动词，其所引导的动作既可以发生在主句动作之前，也可以发生在主句动作之后，还可以表示与主句动作同时发生。,When I was teaching in that college, I used to go to the seashore on Sundays.我在那所大学教书时，周日经常去海边玩。（延续性动
5、词，一段时间 ，主从句动作同时发生） When the lesson was over, we began our writing.下课以后我们开始写作。 （瞬间性动词，一点时间，从句动作发生在前） Help came when we finished the task.我们任务完成了才有人来帮我们。 （瞬间性动作，一点时间，从句动作发生在后）,While,While：指的是“在某一时间里”，“在期间”，和同时从句里的动作必须是持续性的，切不可用瞬间动词。 E.g. While he was in London, he made a lot of friends there. While：也可
6、做并列连词，表示对照的意思。E.g. While we were watching TV, mother was cooking in the kitchen. While（表示让步），尽管虽然 E.g. While I understand what you say, I cant agree with you.,as,as表时间，与when相似，引导持续性动作，但侧重强调主从句动作同点或同段进行，可译为“一边一边”。 He hurried home, looking behind as he went. I saw your sister as she was getting on the

He sang as he walked.,一就,As soon as I saw him walking towards the diner, I would put his order in without him even needing to ask.一看见他向餐馆走来吃晚饭，不用他点我就会把他的菜单拿进去准备。 The day her mother was back, Annie retuned Casey to the apartment so he would be there when Pat got home from the airport.

There are so many young people coming to the game .,2， suchthat结构,suchthat结构表示“如此以致于”，引导结果状语从句。该结构常见于： a: sucha(an)形名词that b: such形复数名词不可数名词that He is such
