1、AbstractWith the increase of the society pressure, we always hang the word “loneliness” in our daily life. However, most of us cant truly understand this word and cant perceived the charm of loneliness. Most of the time, we always think that loneliness is the inner emptiness or loneliness, but in re
2、ality, the loneliness is always in a state that we can not understand.The Little Prince was written by French Antoine de Saint-Exupry who is a famous writer and pilot. His plane was crashed in the desert. He told the story that the little prince all alone traveling around the universe to the earth f
3、inally. The little prince met six men during his trip to earth: an arrogant king; a conceited man; a loafing tippler; a greedy businessman; a lamplighter and a geographer. He meets kinds of people on his trip to earth. The author tells us the loneliness and the destiny of human in the tone of the li
4、ttle prince. Antoine de Saint-Exupry tells peoples loneliness and fate in a tone of child in The Little Prince this book. Through the detailed analysis to the little prince,this paper will start from “what is loneliness” and deeply explore the lonely experience of the little prince himself and the a
5、uthor.This paper is trying to help the readers to know more about the loneliness in The Little Prince. The author expects that readers could have a better understanding about the novel and the real world through analyzing The Little Prince, and could understand, recognize and deal with the lonelines
6、s.Key words: Loneliness; The Little Prince; Real world; Humanity; Status摘 要随着社会的发展，人们所面临的社会压力加剧，日常生活中的我们会常常提起“孤独”这个字眼，但是多数的情况我们其实无法真正地理解孤独，同时也无法领悟到孤独的魅力。大多数的时候我们总以为孤独是内心的空虚或寂寞，实则不然，孤独总是处于一种我们常人所无法理解的状态。在法国著名作家飞行员安托万德 圣-埃克苏佩里的著作小王子里， 一位坠落在荒漠里的飞行员作为故事的讲述者，讲述了小王子独自一人从自己星球出发，在宇宙旅行过程中所遇到的六颗星球上的人：傲慢的国王，爱慕
7、虚荣的人，虚度的酒鬼，贪婪的商人，点灯人，地理学家，最后来到了地球的故事。小王子在旅途中也看到世间形形色色的人，同时也看到了人间百态。作者借以小王子孩童式的口吻来写出人们的孤独和命运.本文将从“ 什么是孤独 ”展开，通过对小王子 中孤独的描写进行详细的分析，深入探究小王子本人及作者的孤独体验。本文最后结合小说和现实生活对孤独进行相应的探讨。本文旨在让读者进一步的了解小说中所体现的孤独，同时希望通过对小王子的解读使读者能够对小说以及对我们所处的世界有一个更加深刻的认识。从而正确对待现实中普遍存在的孤独，进而认同孤独，最后可以应对孤独。关键词：孤独；小王子；现实；人性；状态Chapter 1 In
8、troductionAntoine de Saint-Exupry, the author of The Little Prince was born in Lyon in 1990. He is a famous writer ,poet and pioneering pilot. He won several of Frances highest literary awards and also won the U.S. Nation Book award. He was a successful aviator before he became one of the most great
9、 writer in the history of modern literary. During the period of 1921-1923, he served in the French air force, and then became a Civil aviation pilot. Besides, he took part in the opening of airmail rates in Europe, Africa and South America. In 1939, he threw himself into the anti German war . After
10、being discharged from the French Air Force, he exiled to the United States in the next year. In 1943, he returned to the Free French Air Force in North Africa in his strong request, though he was over age and in declining health for such pilots. He disappeared in a flight mission in the night of Jul
11、y. 31th 1944, and the wreckage of the plane was found by a fisherman on the sea in 2003.He was remembered as a writer rather than a pilot by people all over the world. many of his works, including Wind, Sand and Stars, Night Flight and The Little Prince, are inspired by his experience as a pilot. Th
12、e Little Prince which has been translated into more then 150 languages and dialects,is his most famous one among them. Its English translation was first published in the United States in 1943, approximately one week before its first French printing came out. The Little Prince is a classic tale of eq
13、ual appeal to children and adults. It makes profound observation about life and explores the loneliness of the inner heart.The story begins with the authors self statement. At first, the narrator tells the reader that he can not find a person who could really talk in the adult world, for adults are
14、too practical. He drives a plane which crashes in the Sahara desert. There he meets the little prince and knows about his story little by little through communicating with him. The author believes that the little prince comes from the outer space , a planet called B-612. The reason why he leaves his
15、 planet and travels around the space is that he likes a rose on the planet but he is so young that he cant understand what love is and how to love. He quarrels with the rose and decide to travel to find out the secret of life. On his journey to earth, he travels 6 planets , and he meets a king, an a
16、rrogant man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. But all of the six are boring, the little prince cant make friends with them. Finally, he comes to the earth where he meets a fox, a snake and the author, and they told him what true love is and how to love. After knowing this, he decides to go back to his own planet in the way of being bitten by a snake.It is easy to read this book but it is not easy to understand the meaning behind the wor
