4、In this novel，a character called Mr.Vane travels through a fantasy land.There he meets Lilith，an attractive but troubling fairy princess.In describing Mr.Vanes experiences，MacDonald explores the question of what it means to be human.Another British fantasy writer，C.S.Lewis，acknowleged that he was gr
