11、on, and (4) key differences between English and Cantonese phonology. Throughout the course, participants will be guided to consider the pedagogical implications of the concepts covered. ENLT 6702 英語教學中的構詞學及句法學 本科及語言學中英語構詞及法系統的主要概。學員會在子及話語的層面上, 透過英文口語及書面語的語庫,解及思考字詞的意義和形式。科目內容包括: (一)認在語言學上英語構詞及法的基本概;(

12、二)文法/法與詞匯結構的形 式和意義,以及它們與語運用脈絡的關係;(三)與字詞相關的法形態,包括時 式、時相、語氣、及物性、語態以至性別、人稱和語格;(四)字詞的知, 如本意、含意、搭配、詞匯組群與語義範圍、同義詞、反義詞、下義關係詞及部件 結構詞;(五)對教學和學習的影響。 ENLT 6702 Morphology and Syntax for English Language Teaching This course covers major linguistic concepts of the English morphological and syntactic systems. Pa

13、rticipants will be introduced to corpora of spoken and written English for the understanding and conceptualizing of the meaning and forms of words at sentence and discourse levels. Course content includes (1) basic concepts of linguistic treatment of the morpho-syntax of the English language; (2) fo

14、rm and meanings of grammatical/syntactic and lexical constructions and their relationships with the context of use; (3) syntactic behaviour associated with the word such as tense, aspect, mood, transitivity and voice as well as gender, number, person and case; (4) word knowledge such as denotation,

15、connotation, collocation, lexical sets and semantic fields, sense relations, synonymy, antonymy, hyponymy and meronymy; and (5) implications for teaching and learning. ENLT 6703 英語教學中的口頭及書面話語 透過學習書面語及口語的話語慣,學員會認到一些解構貫在一起的口語及書面 語的技巧。在分析話語的結構、其音系及拼字法則、修辭結構和用語慣的過程中, IIIT17 學員會意到口語及書面語之間性質上及風格上的差別,解到口語和

16、書面語是怎樣 貫及凝聚起,並認到講者和作者向授眾傳達訊息的方法。 ENLT 6703 Spoken and Written Discourse for English Language Teaching Through a study of discourse conventions of written and spoken language, participants will be introduced to some of the techniques for deconstructing connected speech and writing. Analysis of the structure of discourse, its phonological and orthographic rules, rhetorical structures and pragmatic conventions, will build awareness of how sp
