2、e to stay in Stanley for weeks while the pilots wait for good weather.It turned clear at 930and we took off at 1030on a little red plane called a Dash7But even when we were in the airthere was still a chance we wouldnt be able to fly the whole dayDay 4Wednesday December 3After waking up in the Antar
3、ctic for the first time today I can understand why everybody who comes here falls in love with the placeIt is really beautifulWere staying at Rothera Survey base with mountains of ice all aroundIt s about minus 2 todaywhich for me is very coldbut the regulars here are often seen walking around in Ts
4、hirts!Day 5Thursday December 4I woke up to another beautiful sunny day here in the AntarcticIm told its a bit colder todayabout minus 5but its not very windy so it feels warmerThose of us who are new to the base have to do a spceial training course before were allowed to go off base to other station
5、s or to go snowboarding over the nearby hillDay 7Saturday December 6Not a cloud in the sky and its warm enough to sit outside in a jacketThe most amazing thing about this place is how the scenery changes every dayAt first I thought I was going madId step outside in the morning and thinkIm sure that
