7、mendousinspirationonme.Itishisstorythatmotivatedmeandencouragedmewhenadversitiescometome.Fromhim,Icometorealizethatifonecandosomethingbypersistence,thenheorshewillbeextraordinaryandsucceedsoonerorlater.Nowpleaseallowmetobrieflytellyouabouthim.Attheageof22,hesufferedalotfromhisbusiness,whichmadehimaw
8、fullydisappointed.Thenheturnedhismindintobeingapolitician.Unfortunately,withoutenougheconomicfundingandreputation,hefailedagain.Defeatedtwiceinoneyear,hewasundoubtedlypainful.Subsequently,hedecidedtorunfortheelectionofstatelegislatorforthesecondtime,thistime,hesucceeded.Fromthenon,hegrewahopethatmay

10、vercamehisdepressionandturneditintoamotivationwhicheventuallyledhimtobecomearguablyoneofthegreatestpresidentsinAmerica.Moreover,hegotoverconstantridiculeduringtheCivilWarevenwhenhewasapresident.Butheneverbecamedejectedbecauseofit.Actually,AbrahamLincolncouldhavegivenupeverytimehe,hefaceduptoallthedi
11、fficultieswithabraveheartandastrongwill.Hewasoneofthosewhonotonlylookedadversityinanoptimisticwaybutalsolearnedvaluablelessonsonovercomingdifficultcircumstancesandwereabletomoveahead.Itinspiresmealot.Asweallknow,800-meter-raceisthenecessaryitemtobetestedineverysemester,lackingadequateexercise,Ialway

16、sidentrankedfirst.USAonceheldapollinXX-thegreatestAmericans,LincolnwaselectedAmericafigureofsecond.Heisoneofthemostpopularpresidents.OnFebruary12,1809,AbrahamLincolnwasborninapoorfamilyinHardinCountyinKentuckyprefecture.HisparentsaredescendantsofBritishimmigrants,takingfarmingandhewasyoung,hehelpedthefamilymovefirewood,water,dofarmworkandso1816,LincolnsfamilymovedtoIndianaSouthwest.Athis
